EARTH DEFENSE FORCE 4.1 The Shadow of New Despair (You have to use the whole title) - Technically finished the story... the game also has an insane amount you need to do for completion rating. Fun game, best to not take seriously and play with friends. Things had a habit of escalating quickly and gave us a lot to joke about while playing. Don't play if you have a problem with spiders in games, there's a lot of that...

Earth Defense Force 5 - Another installment in the EDF Franchise. More of the same giant monsters vs guys with guns and tanks formula and really cheesey writting but it just works. The game really knows what it is and leans into that and is a wonderful experience for it.

Elden Ring - Graphical issues (Most of the enemies were invisible to me in the open world.) aside I really enjoyed this one. Biggest FromSoft Soulsborne yet and fantastic experience over all. Only game in the genre that rewarded using things outside of my build from time to time.

Evil Genius - Base Manager Spy-Fi where you play the villain. I adore the game. I was originally unable to finish the game on stream due to frequent crashes, but I went back and finished it for YouTube.

Evil Genius 2 - I really enjoyed this sequel. My thoughts at the time (I played at release) were that it did a lot to improve the speed of the game while keeping a lot of the same feel of the game within. Evil Genius 1 was prone to some severe cascading effects that made the game slow to a crawl simply because RNG said so, this one I felt a bit more in control of the game as long as I was paying attention to it.

Evoland - Mostly just a trip down memory lane of where RPGs have come from. Nothing revolutionary really is happening here, and it is mostly inside jokes for fans of the genre. Heavy FF7 and LoZ influences here. Check it out if you want a good “Oh yeah, that was a thing” type experience.
